Dear friend,

I was given the title for this book long before the journey began. It was conceived as a wish, formulated into a dream, and manifested into a promise from Heaven. Complete fulfillment of the miracle took place seven years after embracing the hope that nothing was impossible for God. Twenty-six years from the onset, the journey is now being shared as a testimony of what the tiniest bit of faith can do.

This book chronicles my personal story, highlighting key, life-changing events that impacted me, follows my journey through barrenness and In Vitro-Fertilization, and shares the significance and power of the faith walk that led to the miraculous birth of my daughter, Rachel Ann.  It is about moving from a place of fear and bondage to a place of healing, victory, and the fulfillment of God’s promise.

In sharing my journey, including the challenges that I have faced, others will discover that they are not alone in facing life’s disappointments. We have a Heavenly Father who loves us and positions us to be in the right place at the right time to fulfill His purpose in our lives.

Thankfully, I learned how to trust Him with every step on The Road to Rachel and I am excited to show others how to do the same thing.

This book contains a true story of redemption… learning that one’s worth and value comes from having a relationship with Jesus. It reveals honest emotion without a facade of religion… and emphasizes the importance of trusting God’s guidance in the smallest of decisions that will ultimately lead to the fulfillment of one’s greatest dreams.

Each reader will learn to trust the Holy Spirit’s guidance even when others don’t understand their journey.

In addition, they will be encouraged to embrace truth and faith to support their healing. This book is specifically written to encourage readers to trust their Heavenly Father to bring about the miraculous in their lives.

It contains a personal testimony related to barrenness. It will serve to encourage others on this same journey, whether the barrenness is physical or spiritual, and it will provide wisdom and insight that will help sustain those dealing with their own journey of disappointment and grief.
